Terms Of Service
Welcome to Fireside Coaching (Fireside). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website [fireside-coaching.org], coaching services, and any related content, materials, or communications (collectively, the “Services”, or “Coaching and integration services”). By accessing or using these Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use these Services.
1. Nature of Services
Coaching and integration services are designed to support personal growth, self-inquiry, and integration of life experiences, including those related to non-ordinary states of consciousness. Fireside provides coaching, education, and guidance, not medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.
- Fireside coaching is not a medical or mental health provider, and these services are not a substitute for therapy, counseling, or medical care.
- Fireside coaching does not provide, encourage, or facilitate illegal activity, including the procurement or use of controlled substances.
You are solely responsible for your decisions, actions, and results following any coaching sessions.
2. Eligibility
To use these Services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction);
- Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms;
- Provide accurate and complete information when booking or communicating with a representative of Fireside coaching.
3. Confidentiality
Fireside coaching respects your privacy and confidentiality. All personal information shared during coaching sessions is treated as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law (e.g., risk of harm to self or others, court order, or mandatory reporting obligations). 4. Payments and Cancellations
- Payment for coaching sessions or programs must be made in full before the scheduled session unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee.
- Fireside coaching reserves the right to modify our fees and payment terms at any time, with reasonable notice provided for ongoing clients.
5. No Guarantees
Coaching is a collaborative process that depends on your active participation. While Fireside Coaching aims to support your personal growth and transformation, coaching does not guarantee specific outcomes. Your success depends on your commitment, effort, and personal circumstances.
6. Client Responsibility
By engaging in coaching, you acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for your own well-being, decisions, and actions.
- You will seek medical, psychological, or legal advice when appropriate.
You understand that any mention of substances or altered states of consciousness is educational and harm-reduction-oriented, not a suggestion to engage in illegal activities.
7. Intellectual Property
All materials provided by Fireside Coaching (including written content, audio, video, or other resources) are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use these materials for your personal growth but may not reproduce, distribute, or modify them without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fireside Coaching is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of coaching or integration Services. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fireside Coaching and its representatives from any claims or losses resulting from your participation.
9. Termination
Fireside Coaching reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to Services with sole discretion, and without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful or inappropriate.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good faith discussion. If unresolved, disputes will be handled in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
11. Modifications
Fireside Coaching may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of coaching and integration Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
